Purobot Max 3 Automatic Cat Litter Box

Couldn’t Be Happier!

Good but could be better!

The Purobot Max 3 is a decent litter robot, but it could use some improvements. The green plastic piece inside the litter box is prone to bending and warping, which can cause litter to get stuck and prevent the robot from cycling out dirty litter. I recommend having more than two small areas for the thing to latch onto on the sides and using something a bit thicker than thin plastic. Despite these issues, the Purobot Max 3 still performs better than the new litter robots from Whisker, so I’ll definitely purchase another one.

Great for bigger cats

Had a litter robot for a few years that the motor stopped working on and needed a new box for our 3 cats, 2 of which are mainecoon mixes, and didn’t want to shell out $800 for another litter robot that I was happy with, but didn’t love. Took a chance and tried the PETKIT and I have been so happy with it these first couple weeks and our cats love it. Much more space for our big boys too.
