Wonderful Jianshui Pot

Gorgeous pot feels great in my hand and has beautiful pore

Fantastic teapot. I've bought Jianshui before, but from a different vendor and at around half this price. Although they share similarities the differences are stark. The silhouette of the teapot itself is sharp and refined, very clean, you can see the time and care put into the form. Fantastic pour with a great ball filter and spout. The clay inlay on this piece also just blows my previous one out of the water completely, the colors are more vibrant, with more and sharper details. The whole design is a lot more complex with smaller carved portions and lots of overlap between these elements, but not to the point of losing the overall design. This teapot is a bit larger in volume so it is great for sharing tea. Especially since the beautiful inlay faces away from you (if you're right-handed) If I had to critique anything is that the spout is a little too low, so the tea pours out before you can fill it up all the way, this is very minor and only applies to this specific shape.
