I had two Kingsford chimneys burn through the hardware at the lower holding grate. One of those broke after the first use with lump coal. Decided to upgrade to the Chud Chimney and have no regrets - multiple uses and I'm confident this will last decades.

I bought the grate a while back, but the chimney was on back order. Once it arrived, I was thrilled with the sturdiness and feeling of heft on this thing. Very pleased and glad to have it

Chimney Starter w/Grate

Perfect chimney starter with some heft to it. If I wanted to get a quick chef's snack, just toss the grates on the starter while it's going and indulge! Nothing like it! Thanks Team Chudd!
