★★★★★ Exceptional Products, Value, and Buying Experience
I recently purchased the GIANT Northland Open Trap Hex Bar with 16-inch sleeves, a complete selection of GIANT Rubber Grip Olympic Plates, and the black GIANT Magnetic Collars. After receiving and using everything, I can honestly say that I have been extremely pleased with the entire experience.
The Northland Open Trap Bar is exceptionally practical and enjoyable to use. The open design makes getting into position much easier than with a traditional closed trap bar, while the built-in jack greatly simplifies loading and unloading the plates. The bar feels substantial, well constructed, and thoughtfully designed. It was exactly what I wanted for deadlifts, carries, shrugs, and other exercises in our home gym.
The Rubber Grip Olympic Plates have also been excellent. The integrated handholds make the plates considerably easier and more comfortable to pick up, carry, load, and remove. I purchased several sizes—from 2.5-pound and 5-pound pairs through 10-, 25-, and 45-pound plates—so I can make both small and large weight adjustments. They feel durable, look professional, and work beautifully with the trap bar and our other Olympic equipment.
The Magnetic Collars are another small but very worthwhile addition. They are easy to use, secure the plates properly, and can be conveniently attached to compatible metal equipment when they are not on the bar.
The purchasing process through GIANT Lifting’s website was straightforward and easy from beginning to end. Although the order arrived in several separate shipments because of the number and weight of the items, everything was delivered successfully and within a reasonable period. The order tracking and fulfillment updates also made it easy to follow each delivery.
I was especially impressed by the overall value. My complete order included the Northland Open Trap Bar, a substantial collection of Olympic plates, and magnetic collars. GIANT also provided an order discount and free shipping—an especially meaningful benefit when purchasing hundreds of pounds of strength equipment. The quality I received for the total cost was outstanding.
Most importantly, I have genuinely enjoyed using every product I purchased. GIANT Lifting delivered an excellent combination of thoughtful design, quality construction, competitive pricing, and a simple buying experience. Based on this purchase, I would confidently recommend GIANT to anyone building or expanding a serious home gym, and I would gladly purchase from them again.
